That's kinda the worst part I see in a lot of flashpoints, the restrictions are one thing, mostly just extremely annoying since I have to fly across the galaxy to get to the flashpoint only to THEN have them tell me the exact restrictions, so unless I have a knowledge of some average restriction weights and setup multiple lances at the ready for them I'd have to purchase mechs on the spot.Īlso the bit with the prototype mission was kinda annoying having to do a mission with 4 mechs that aren't my own at once all with 3 pilots not my own and the one pilot that is my own being in the Raven. Most of the time it's some crap pulse lasers or a part for a Griffin 2N, but by that point a single mech part is hardly worth the dead pilots and lost gear that meat grinder takes from you. Between a mission that involves destroying a convoy in only max 50 ton mechs while the OPFOR gets heavies and assaults, to a Target Acquisition where multiple lances drop down to utterly tear your lance apart, the whole damn thing is a grinder for a reward that never has been worth it.
